Richardson Creek Tree Planting

We need volunteers to help plant conifer trees along streams where salmon spawn. Trees provide dense canopy shade that keeps water temperatures cool and oxygen-rich. Their roots stabilize the stream banks to prevent erosion, and while fallen branches create nutrient-rich feeding grounds and vital shelter from predators.

Provided: trees, tools, gloves. water, light snacks, and a complimentary t-shirt.
